Tara Lynch grew up fishing and hunting small farm ponds in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Her love of the outdoors grew stronger with time and has turned into what many of her friends and family call an obsession.
Tara graduated from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is a licensed real estate broker and general contractor. As well as flyfishing, she enjoys many types of hunting and offshore fishing. Hunting waterfowl and whitetail deer are very close to her heart, but flyfishing for tarpon is at the top of her list. Landing 100 lb. tarpon on fly and releasing seven striped marlin in one day are just a couple of her achievements.
As well as working with us, Tara is also Field Staff for Dakota Decoys and Pro Staff for Rig ‘Em Right Waterfowl.
She leaves us with one of her favorite quotes: “When a man picks up a fly rod for the first time, he may not know, he has been born again.” ~ Joseph D. Farris
